The CCJ Academy for Law, formerly the Caribbean Academy for Law and Court Administration (CALCA), and the General Legal Council of Jamaica are jointly staging the 5th Biennial Conference on Law which will be themed “The Future of Legal Practice in the Caribbean – Catalyst for Regional Success?”. The conference held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica from 13 – 15 December 2018.

The 5th Biennial Conference has three main areas of focus:

• The Law as a Facilitator of Business and Development
• Legal issues pertaining to Intellectual Property
• Facilitating Access to Justice
