Dear Members,

This is to report that at a hearing before Justice of Appeal Moosai this morning, the Law Association’s appeal against the judgment of Madame Justice Kangaloo was deemed urgent and fixed for hearing on the first available date, namely 10th April 2018.

As a consequence, it is now necessary, on Senior Counsel’s advice, to cancel the Special General Meeting which was scheduled for 15th March 2018. A notice to this effect will be sent out in due course.
