Operations of LATT Secretariat

Dear Member,

The above-captioned subject refers.

Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19 we have implemented measures to protect our employees, members and stakeholders.

We will temporarily close our offices to all face to face interaction and all day-to-day business until further notice. Most of our Secretariat employees will be working from home commencing on the 18th March 2020.

To minimize the health risks to our members, employees and stakeholders all face-to-face events and meetings scheduled between now and 3rd April 2020 have been cancelled or switched to conference calls. We ask for your understanding and patience and we will continue to update you on the status of the operations of the Secretariat and rescheduling of meetings. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that the following membership services are temporarily suspended:

  1. The generation of LATT attorney identification cards;
  2. In-person attorney enquiries.

We are cognizant of our obligations to the membership and as such we have put procedures in place to limit the inconvenience caused.

All members may send urgent email enquiries concerning the following to itofficer@lawassociationtt.com:

  1. Requests for payment history;
  2. Requests for Attorneys’ contact information;

With regard to the applications for Certificates of Fitness all interviews will be scheduled on a date to be subsequently announced to related applicants. To make an appointment, all applicants should send an email intituled, “Request for a Certificate of Fitness” to itofficer@lawassociationtt.com.
