Admission Requirements

Hugh Wooding Law School

The Hugh Wooding Law School offers a two-year, full-time programme of training for persons who hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies or other universities approved by the Council of Legal Education leading to the award of the Legal Education Certificate, which is recognised in the participating states as the professional qualification for admission to practice.

The Law School also offers a transitional (six-month) course of training for common law professionally trained persons. The course of training runs from the commencement of the academic year of the Law School and ends six months thereafter.
