It has come to our attention from the Principal of the Hugh Wooding Law School, Ms. Miriam Samaru that several attorneys at law have been approached by one individual requesting financial assistance for personal expenses. Whilst, quite rightly, it is within your discretion to aid any student, we wish to inform you that the Hugh Wooding Law School has an official Student Assistance Fund. This Fund, which is administered by the Bursary Committee of the Law School offers assistance to deserving students who meet set criteria thereby ensuring transparency and proper accountability to those persons who donate monies.

The Law School has asked that you consider utilizing this mechanism. Should you wish to contribute to the fund, you may do so by sending a cheque in the name of the Hugh Wooding Law School, with a cover letter.
