Dear Members:
We wish to congratulate our newly admitted members on their recent Admission to Practice in Trinidad and Tobago!
As part of our vision for continuing professional development of our members, the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago, through its Committee for Continuing Legal Education, is planning a series of workshops to enhance your law practice. The first of these, which is a Post- Call Seminar, for newly-admitted members, will take place at the Convocation Hall, Hall of Justice, Knox Street, Port of Spain on June 28, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This Seminar has been designed to provide our newly admitted members with invaluable practical information on your duties and responsibilities under the Legal Profession Act and to give you guidance on a variety of aspects of legal practice. Our aim is to help our newly admitted members successfully navigate the many intricacies of practice, as they embark on the practice of law.
Heads of legal organisations (Legal Firms, the Judiciary, Private Sector, Mediation and the State) will be contributing to elucidate the several fields of professional activity in which a newly admitted Attorney may seek to embark.
We encourage our newly admitted members to participate as we are of the view that this Seminar will be of great value to you as you embark on your legal career. We also ask our older members to encourage our newly admitted members attend this seminar.
Please let the Secretariat know if you are interested in attending in person at the Hall of Justice by Monday 25 June, 2018 to confirm your space. Registration for this Seminar will ONLY be accepted VIA the attached Link and on a first come, first served basis.
