On behalf of the President of the Law Association, Mr. Douglas L. Mendes S.C. and members of Council, I submit for your attention and feedback a letter from the Hon. Attorney General, and a draft Bill to amend the Summary Courts and Indictable Offences (Preliminary Enquiries) Acts, which will permit an approach to the disposal of matters before Marcia Ayers Caesar.

The Council of the Law Association would appreciate your comments on this draft Bill and request that these be sent to the Secretariat on or before Friday 4 August, 2017.
