Dear Member:
As you may know, the Law Association is moving to adopt a system of compulsory Continuing Legal Professional Development (CLPD) as a requirement of legal practice in Trinidad.
In conjunction with the Impact Justice Project, the Law Association will be hosting a seminar on Continuing Legal Professional Development which will feature a public lecture by Mr. Michael Hylton QC, immediate Past Chairman of the General Legal Council of Jamaica, who has a wealth of experience on the implementation and operation of the CLPD system in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
We invite you to attend the Seminar which takes place on Thursday 7 December, 2017 at 3.00 p.m. at the Convocation Hall, Hall of Justice, Port of Spain. The Lecture will be followed by a short Reception at 4.30 p.m. to give members an opportunity to chat with Mr. Hylton, other members of the Impact Justice Project and members of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Law Association.
Please let the Secretariat know if you are interested in attending by Thursday 29 November, 2017 to confirm your space. Registration for this Seminar will ONLY be accepted VIA the attached Link.
