Criminal Law Seminar – CPR, 2016: A Practical Approach – 12th July, 2018 – 2:30PM – Justice Brown-Antoine

Dear Members:

The Association of Southern Lawyers (ASL) will be hosting a Criminal Law Seminar on Thursday 12th July, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. titled “The Criminal Proceedings Rules, 2016: A Practical Approach”.
The Honourable Madam Justice Carla Brown-Antoine has graciously agreed to facilitate the Seminar which will be held in the High Court of Justice, San Fernando in a court room to be announced.

The ASL encourages all attorneys (civil and criminal) to attend. Her Ladyship is carded to address inter alia the contentious Defence Case Statement, additionally the context of the decision of Sexius v. The Attorney General of Saint Lucia [2017] UKPC 26 will be discussed.

The cost to attend is $50.00 for members of the ASL and $80.00 for non-members of the ASL. Additionally, Three (3) Free Tickets will be given away at the Seminar for the ASL End of Term Luncheon carded for Friday 20th July, 2018. Payments can be made directly to the Treasurer of the ASL, Ms. Lauren Ramtahal, at No. 9 Harris Street, San Fernando who can also be contacted at 652-2550.
