Please see attached below Notice of the Candidates for the 33rd Council of the Law Association. This Notice was published in both the Daily Express and the Newsday on Friday March 8th 2019.

Additionally, please note that in an attempt to facilitate all of our Members the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago has obtained venue accommodations in South Trinidad, and in Tobago for the broadcasting of our Annual General Meeting from the Convocation Hall, Hall of Justice, Port-of-Spain which is scheduled for March 22, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. These venue locations for the broadcasting of the AGM are:

SAN FERNANDO – Classroom 005, Southern Academy for Performing Arts; and
TOBAGO – Court Room TGO 5, Supreme Court, Bacolet Street, Scarborough, Tobago.

Further, in the absence of nominations for the post of Vice President, the Association will consider a resolution abridging the time for receiving nominations for the post of Vice President and accepting nominations to the post of Vice President from the floor of the meeting and to hold elections for the position of Vice President from among those nominated from the floor. To facilitate this process, blank nomination forms will be supplied on the day of the AGM for Members to fill in the names of their nominees.
